For over 30 years, Albert (Al) has applied his financial acumen to advise high net worth individuals on investment, tax and risk management strategies. Today he is sought after across Canada for his analytical approach, creative thinking and proven solutions. Al holds the prestigious Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and consistently ranks amongst the top Advisors in the country. A highly successful entrepreneur, Al is the current President and CEO of both Winvest and the real estate investment company, Sincerus Capital, which he founded following several lucrative real estate ventures in Canada and the United States.
Al currently resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba with his family, where he maintains an active role in the community, charitable ministries and positions on numerous corporate boards. Al is continually learning and seeks wisdom from his trusted partners and Board of Directors.
Paul Peters, CPA, CA
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer for Winvest Financial, Paul is responsible for all finance functions including strategic planning, reporting and compliance.
Prior to joining Winvest, Paul was Vice-President at a Canadian public corporation where his accountabilities included taxation, external reporting and investor engagement. He has managed the structuring of complex business transactions from those involving hundreds of millions of dollars to deals involving owner-managed businesses. Paul also established and led one of the most successful Scientific Research & Experimental Development tax credit programs in Manitoba.
Paul is an alumnus of the KPMG audit and tax practices and is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with degrees in Commerce and Education.
Nathan Rempel
Financial Advisor
As a licensed Advisor for Winvest Financial Nathan is dedicated to helping individuals and families in Manitoba navigate the complexities of personal finance with confidence and clarity. Born and raised in Winnipeg, he understands the unique financial landscape of our province and what makes Manitoba special. With a strong foundation, Nathan has created a reputation for delivering high quality strategic direction for his clients.
As a Financial Advisor, Nathan believes in building strong, long-lasting relationships with his clients. He invests the time up front to understand each client’s needs and circumstances, and then collaborates with them to develop a comprehensive financial plan based on their objectives. He is also responsible for client development, onboarding, strategic planning, tactic implementation, and team member support for existing clients of the firm. Nathan currently holds his B.Sc. in biochemistry and is working toward completing his CFP designation in 2024.
In addition to his professional activities, Nathan is an active member in his community. Involved in recreational sports teams, he continues his love for physical activity. He is also passionate about using the skills he has acquired during his career to help local charities and his Church. He is actively involved in youth and young adult programs, where he is passionate about pouring into the lives of young people.
Nathan currently resides in Winnipeg with his wife Melissa.
